Part 2: Eastern Hills. Explore The Story >> (http://www.habbo.co.uk/client?forwardId=2&roomId=19766671)
HelKat: Whilst on holiday with Johnny Squabble, Lostie and I got the unique opportunity to try out a bit of modelling ourselves, not only in a studio but also with Johnny on an actual 'on location' shoot! Johnny insists armpits look their best in natural surroundings so the abandoned ancient temple in the Jungles east of Tokyo was an ideal place, we were told by the photographer. Some of the agency staff seemed to think it was a bad idea, but apparently that's all just "silly superstition stuff!"... so we went! It was an arduous journey - we trekked, we trailled, we climbed, we sank into bogs and were laughed at by unseen monkeys, we saw Japanese Jungle crows, crocodiles and unusual
plants, it was really very exciting!
I was glad we struggled on though because it was a beautiful place, it was very well hidden and remote - decades, possibly centuries, of fear of upsetting the powers and Gods of local legends mean the place has very few visitors! It's almost been reclaimed by the wilderness that surrounds it and yet somehow the inner structure remains completely intact, as if nature knew not to mess with it! It did make me wonder if it was actually silly to be a little scared and in awe of such a remarkable and impressive place - even the monkeys stayed clear of the temple (which I http://images.habbohotel.co.uk/c_images/Japan/japan_worship_004.gifwould have thought an attractive alternative to the trees when it rained!)
There are stories of drawers going bump in the night though, which is rather hard not to think just a little bit silly, as well as rumours of Gods and spirits reciding within. All I can say is, if there are any there they were either rude hosts or away for the weekend - they certainly didn't introduce themselves to me, how about you Lostie?
Lost_Witness: Well perhaps they were shy? I don't know about you Hel but I'm starting to take that silly talk a lot more seriously now, I know (indeed EVERYONE knows!) you've been unwell since we got back and I've not been feeling too great myself either, I just don't moan about it as muc -
HelKat: I do not moan! I quietly soldier on like the brave girl I am! Nanny JaneKat says I'm the bravest girl in our family, apart from Aunty BoadiceaKat, of course!
Lost_Witness: Oh of course. Anyway, I thought you were putting the kettle on?
http://images.habbohotel.co.uk/c_images/album2417/Japan_drawer_front.gifSo, I decided to do a little research on this Ancient Temple and it turns out that there is absolutely no information about it anywhere! That was actually quite handy as Eastenders was just about to start and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Bad acting and terrible stories? Well I never!
It was that very night that something went bump. I checked the usual suspects (pillow, cat, alarm clock, watermelon) but it was none of those things. It was then that I noticed an orange glow coming from my very elegant, slightly smelly, new drawers. It's not what you're thinking...! Drawers. You know, what you put socks and sandwiches in? I approached the drawers and low and behold out popped a fox sprite named Kitsune! Not a common occurence I must say, but when you work for Habbo...
She made a fancy introduction, helped herself to my watermelon and revealed some upsetting information about the Ancient Temple. I actually found the information quite amusing but i'm going to say it was upsetting because of the reaction HelKat gave when I broke the news to her the following day. I decided to break the news to her gently.
We are vanishing. Turning into nothingness. Being erased. Becoming invisible. But a few of my choice words during our "good moaning" meeting.
Why are we dissapearing? Well it's because we accidentally disturbed the resting place of one of the great ninjas of the ancient Arajola Tribe. But of course! Anyway, it turns out the Ancient Temple was central in a terrible war between Pirates and Ninjas. The great ninja put a curse on the temple and, seemingly, inflicted it upon a couple of innocent tourists rather than a pirate. Joy!
So, HelKat needs your help to prevent her from turning invisible! Don't get me wrong, i'll be happy to get the cure too, but being invisible for a few days actually sounds like fun! The first thing i'd do is get myself a drink so that all you could see is the blackcurrant juice floating about the hotel! Hmmm that sounds familiar..
http://images.habbohotel.co.uk/c_images/album2417/Japan_Magicbox.gifKitsune has decided to hang about until the curse is cured as she has valuable information on a number of other temples that we will need to visit over the coming days. We will reveal more on those a little later though, for now it's all about the Anicnet Temple. If you see Kitsune floating, dancing, prancing or most likely posing around the hotel then be sure to entertain her. She likes to be entertained and rewards Habbos who successfully manage it. She will only hang out in the Japanese Navigator floor on her Habbo account Kitsune so hopefully you will find her relatively easily!
