"What's a Deadline?"
Hey Habbos!

Deadline, schmeadline! Pah, I have 3,6458,893 thing to do before 5.30, and I don't need no stinking deadlines!
So what's new then? Hmm well it's rained. A lot. I mean a huge amount. I think I am a rain goddess, every time I go out of my house the droplets descend to touch me and adore me. Very nice of them, but it gets a bit old after a while.
So we have a bit of a problem with one of our credit machines in game, but it will be fixed soon, I promise! Speaking of problems, we have no blog from Disarno this week as he's been very busy getting his pc fixed.
Now that Dr Who has finished for this year (waaahhhh!) what am I going to do on Saturday nights? Hmm to lose a Time Lord, but gain a social life again!? Roll on Christmas Day I say.
I should be so lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky ;)
Colmc's unimpressed
Hello Habbos!
http://www.habbo.co.uk/habbo-imaging/avatar/8001420523255092801530503014400c75b138b9336231edcb 0d6128f7f0f35.gif
I hope you've had a good week. I can't believe it's July already - especially with the weather doing the crazy things that it is doing at the moment. I don't know what to make of it, we have thunder and rain one minute, and then lovely sunshine the next. Maybe it's a good thing that we had the environmental inspector in not so far back. While it's always sunny in Habbo, outside certainly is going a little bit crazy!
Outside Habbo Towers, there is a design exhibition going on, which frankly looks like the Blue Peter makes storage facility crashed into the Toni & Guy hairdressing training school and the wreckage has been splattered across the floor. I'm not sure how much of it I'd class as being particularly nice, but I guess design is a individual thing. However, if you're a creative sort why not go create a nice billboard that could be displayed inside Habbo! A pretty cool way of showcasing your design skills I think! To find out more, check out the Habbo Gallery (http://www.habbo.co.uk/community/gallery) section!
So poor old Heidster is upset. No more Doctor Who until Christmas, when he teams up with poppet pop-star Kylie. She'll be grumpy until December now. I don't know what we'll do to keep her distracted. I did give her some DVD's of one of my favourite TV shows but she hasn't brought it home yet and I'm most annoyed. She's only had them since last October - is she the slowest person on the face of the planet? I'm beginning to think she is! I don't know of anyone else who has taken such a long time to do something so simple as bring a small box home.
Well that's about it for me this time. I'm sure I had a tale of woe to tell, but instead of that how about a Player Support lowlight of the week. Imagine getting your nan to lie to us. Naughty Habbo this week decided that he would tell us (and his nan) a big batch of porky pies. The problem is that we know he's not telling the truth..and I doubt his nan will be very impressed when she finds out! The moral of this story is a) lying is bad, b) we know when you're not being honest and c) telling lies to your nan is just BAD!
Over and out all!
0rca's Whale of a Week
Ihttp://images.habbohotel.co.uk/c_images/album2108/0rca_Alt_2.gif am a little bored with Big Brother this year and I am not sure why. I have watched Big Brother right from the start and this year seems to be the second most boring out of them all. There is just something about it that is just not keeping me hooked.
I thought it was sad when Jonathon left though, I must admit to shedding a tear over that. Charley annoys me, Ziggy and Chanelle are getting a bit boring now although I did actually like them at first. I hope she goes this week, as I think Ziggy may pick up a bit. Brian is a bit dim, anyone see his comment about Romeo and Juliet, I mean who doesn’t know who William Shakespeare is? He is slowly creeping up to Jade’s stupidity.
So enough of that, OMG who saw the Diana concert? WOW at the Josephs singing! I have to say though, Lee sounded the best out of the three with Jason D coming a close second, Donny Osmond just didn’t sound right, he just didn’t sound powerful enough. I also liked P Diddy’s performance, that made me cry a little but the Josephs made me cry more. I am such a wimp. I didn’t think much to Elton John though, I usually like his songs but he just did nothing for me that night, and I stayed up to watch him too!
I have a competition (which is kind of inline with the Japanese furni that is in the catalogue at the moment). Now as you all should be aware I am a HUGE animal lover, and the Chinese calendar is associated with animals. Everyone was born in a year of an animal, mine is actually a sheep. ROFL..I mean a sheep! :o
I would prefer to have been born in a Rabbit year. I guess I only have my parents to blame for that disastrous plan! Anyway the competition, which was dreamt up by Oadby (http://www.habbo.co.uk/home/Oadby), is to tell me what animal you are best associated with. It doesn’t HAVE to be the actual animal on the Chinese calendar but just an animal you are most like. So for example I would most associate myself with a Cat. I like cats, I would love to be a cat as they spend about 16 hours of the day sleeping and I like affection. If I am treated nicely I will treat others nicely, and I think that’s what cats are like :)
The best replies will win a trophy from me (and possibly a piece of Japanese furni if the answer is THAT good!) Send your answers to
[email protected] before the evening of Tuesday 10th July.
Talking about cats! Here is another picture of my cat Toadflax which I have had LOADS of Habbos ask me for this week:

I did an interview for Habboglobe.fm a few weeks ago, they are an official fansite (http://www.habbo.co.uk/community/fansites), once known as Bobblefm. It was very fun. If you want to have a read you will find in the Community section of their site, under Interviews.
The automatic password retrieval tool is down at the moment, but the techies are working hard to fix it. If you need a password reset and it is still down when you do, you know where to find us! Make sure you tell us as much as you possibly can, because we simply cannot send a password unless we are sure you are the owner. So please do not get angry at us if you cannot prove you own an account. This is why it is super important you remember all your sign up details.

Akela!'s Week
Our Blogs went up a little late last time! I blame HelKat, she probably tripped over her teapot and spilled tea on them. She will never admit this of course!
Thanks to everyone who entered my Interview room competition. There were some lovely entries and as always I have had a job choosing a winner. But I have chosen and the lucky winner is:
ChipButtie.
Who made this lovely room:

Akela!'s Interview Shed!
Well done ChipButtie. (I will have to try not to eat you with a name like that!) An Akela! Trophy will be winging its way to you and I will also drop the promised mocha.
If you would like to interview me let me know and we can share a coffee in that sparkly new room.
Did you see the Diana Concert on Sunday? I certainly watched it and really thought it was good. Elton was a little disappointing but the rest were fantastic. I am actually going to see Status Quo next month so I’m real excited about that. I really laughed a lot at Ricky Gervais and have decided that I am launching a campaign in Habbo to replace the “F” word with Fiddle dee dee. I suppose you had to see it to see the funny side, basically he was saying that all of Harry’s Army colleagues were probably to scared to swear in front of a Royal and so they say fiddle dee dee instead. We have decided to let you all be all sensible and grown up now and let you choose what you see by turning off the Bobba filter (providing you are over 13). This of course doesn’t mean you can start being really horrible to other Habbos; you will still get banned if you are downright insulting or you start bullying or being racist. No point in complaining to us here in Player Support if that happens, we can’t have anyone upset by being called nasty names like “You are a fiddle dee dee noob, go and fiddle dee dee die” That will definitely get you a two hour break!

I am wondering if it is ever going to stop raining! I hope so as the school holidays will soon be here, and don’t want the bad weather to spoil anything you have planned. I suppose the upside is that if it’s wet you can stay inside and play Habbo all day long!
All my plans for the weekend were spoiled because of the weather, I went to our village fete and got soaked, then the next day there was a party for one of the villagers who was 90 years old! That was a bit better as it was in a marquee, but even so it’s not good for July really. I am going on about the weather again, sorry, I must stop letting it rule my life! Oh, I nearly forgot the fete were selling little kits to make your own carrot cake, guess who bought one of those! That’s about it this week, I hope HelKat watches where she is walking this time and nothing has to be dried out before you see it. Remember word of the moment is FIDDLE DEE DEE!
As always have fun and stay safe!
There :)
