After every event you do, why do you bloody always brand it a "Success".

Its not like you'd call it a failiure even if it was, so stop trying to make yourselves bigger.

Its hard to explain, you're trying to big yourselves up and try to prove that it was good.

Let the event speak for itself, please.

It is a success if people turn up and play though.

You wouldn't see it being posted as "Event - It was sort of okay, could have used a few more people though".

I don't really see the point behind this complaint. It's not us trying to big ourselves up, its just easier than writing a in depth situation in the thread title, and like I said, people turn up and play so it is a success.

If it was a success, then of course we will brand it a success (and nearly all of them are, anyway) :S

The post-event announcment is there to inform the users that the event is now over and so they can catch up with what went on.

Hmm, I see why you are thinking that. Would you prefer the title to be "Event Name Results"?

But I beg to differ... I think it is a good idea because people might want to see the screenies... like me as I was in the screenie and ALSO if i miss the event atleast I know what I missed out on....
IF you don't want to read the post then DON'T, no1 is forcing you to read the post.... Have a good day

Is there a problem with that?

It just proves that Habbox is the superior.

I think what Loz is getting at is that a write-up of the event is fine so people can judge for themselves but not saying its a success everytime. I suppose its the old Self-Praise is no recommendation theory. I can see where he is coming from. =]

Cows go moo.

I'm an EO and I think it's fine.

Just ignore the thread if it bothers you that much.

Well it is at the moment top of the pile in the announcements - bit hard to not notice...

Event news and name changes just clogg up the announcements forum with stuff most of the forum don't care about. Instead of seeing important news in the 'lastest post' section on the main page, I see "Falling Furni - Great Success. It Nice!". I'm sure the people who care about Falling Furni being a success were the ones who were there anyway.

If you don't want to read the announcment then it's simple, don't. You don't have to click it.

Not everyone wants to see it, but some people do :)

But it also might make me miss out on important news? I only see the latest post bit on the main page.

Then any noobs event is classified as success.

Its just you put it for every bloody event.

Bit o' variation pls.

You could use some variation in your vocab, bloody is getting a bit boring itself

I'm sure that it can possibly be changed, I just don't see it as such a massive issue.

To be honest, when these announcements about the result of events started popping up i asked myself "whats the point?" I still do. Maybe an additional post to the original announcement stating winners and turnout would be nice, but another announcement altogether is unessecary.

That is a very sensible idea =]

Those who really care about news going on at Habbox should really, and most do, click the announcement forum itself and scroll down to see anything that interests them.

Then why do we need to know all the time, surly a forum "Events" where they can be psoted so its quick ref too is better. (Y)

Right people...

as Earthquake pointed out, it is a success if the game is played, like HabboxLive is a success as people are tuning in.

It sounds to me that some of you think a much better thread title would suit you better rather than branding everything a success as you say.

today

Yeah i think maybe "Results" ect. is better (Y)

or

"Falling Furni - The Turn Out"
