I'm getting some for my birthday.

I'm just wondering, how much (approximately) is a weave?

my hair is like, past my shoulders... but I wouldn't consider it long, it's medium(ish)

and I wish to get the extensions 3/4 of the way down my back... any idea how much it would cost?

thankssss!
<3

(i'll +rep anyone who is good :})

it all depends on what you get. like if you get real hair or synthetic. and certain makes will cost more than others. if there are shops which sell weaves near you, go there and check their prices because they will vary. but if your ordering them online, go to their site and do research.

i have real hair extentions, they're quite long (look on my myspace)
they cost £200.
however nylon ones are cheaper, but the quality isn't half as good.

my friend has 'real' weave & hers didn't cost anywhere near £200 ;l.

hers were like £20/30 for the whole head. and it cost her £20 to get it actually sewn in, i would suggest you get them sewn in rather than glue. cause the glue just looks tacky.

mine were imported, to acctually get them sewn in it was £45. (:

Well my mum said I can have ones up to $400, (about 200 quid)

so i'd be able to get some half descent ones with that kind of money.. right?

oh, and another thing, how long do they last for?

they can last forever, it depends.
i've never heard of the glue ones.
my friend had, or alot of my friends
do have the clipin ones.
they look nice, but they have to go
underneath the real hair.
if you get them sewn in, my friend
got her full head done for 300$

maybe some people only have a short hair cycle (2-3 year)
that'd mean that they couldn't have very long hair, like myself.
Hence me getting extentions (:

I just can't be bothered to like, let my hair grow. It's quite slow as well.

When it gets to the length it is now, (which I hate), I usually think "oh screw it" and I go and get it cut off.

And I just like the idea of like, having short hair, and then bam! you have long!
