My sister has been out with her friends at the shop, and I stayed at home watching simpsons. Sister and friends came back, and my sisters friend Abbi had been punched and I was like :O and rang mum. She got home in like 2 minuites and mum went mad and we all got in the car going round the streets looking for her and my sister said "Thats her" and pointed to her, and mum got out and was shouting loads and called the local police station and the police got there but mum was still shouting madly but eventually calmed down. The 15yr old girl (who goes to same school as them and knows my sister and abbi) was taken to the station crying loads. We will get to see what happens in a day or two.

The story my sister and her friend gave was that the 15yr old kept telling Abbi to call herself ugly and fat, and when Abbi refused the girl punched her. Her friends left and we didnt see them.

Then I walked back (cause there was too many in the car and the police may have seen us) and then her friends came up to me and kept saying "what happened to my friend!" and I wouldnt reply and mum and all in the car saw them and mum got out and started shouting at her aswell, but they didnt say anything and we just continued going back home.

Anyway the point of me telling you this is to ask "Do you think the (15yr old) should get a second chance IF she has a clean record?

Vote in poll :D

What d'you mean "get a second chance"? Be let off? Depends if the girl who was hit wants to press charges i guess.
Seems a bit wierd, and i don't blame your mum for going mad.

Girls will be girls. And she will get a 2nd chance anyway, she aint gonna get sent down over a fight between 2 teens, probably just a warning.

A second chance at what.

All that would probley happen is a caution unless your sister presses charges which is very unlikly in this insident.

I mean do you think this shouldnt go on her record or should like a formal caution? Should you use the "girls will be girls" excuse and let he go without arresting?
Also it wasnt my sister who got punched it was her friend who is staying

Haha, i got into a fight at the weekend for sticking up for these two random girls me and my mate saw. i got my head kicked (one must of kicked me in the bum cos it nacks when i sit down) and im black and blue, my ribs are like nearly black and i know for a fact the lads will only get a caution (we have there full names)
Another one of my mates flat linned three times! and the police are appealing for witness three months after, and the lads who did it are going on the tag and they both were anyway before that!
No offense or out but that girl will probs just get a pinky.

Yes my mum does go a little far sometimes lol, she rang the local police station didnt go there but it is out of order for a 15yr old to hit a 12yr old for that imo.

i do agree with befi tbhh. ur mum overexaggerated. a little tiff between two girls. the police shouldnt be called as they could be doing better things. it should have been sorted out between the girls and possibly the parents.

and even if the police do something, that girl wont change her ways. & she would probs only get a warning anyway (unless shes had one previously).

well tbh, if the 15 year old was telling the girl to call herself ugly & fat and she was ugly & fat she shoulda just said it really! no point denying the truth.
on the other hand: after she said that why didn't the girls just walk away? to be quite honest, if someone's telling you that you don't just stand there like a gorm, cause surely you realise they're just gonna keep being vile?

then aye it is, still cautions only last till your 18 and you get like two of them then u get in more trouble(not!)

She said she hasnt done anything but maybe thats because she had a little to drink (not completly smashed, but tipsy she was)

Also shes not fat and ugly, but if she replied than it would have made her in a bit of trouble for swearing, where as she kept quiet then the punch was not justified

i didnt realise she was 12. i retract my point where i said ur mum overexaggerated as being 12, she shouldnt be either taunted or punched by a 15 year old.

the bullyish 15yr olds came to them for no reason at all while they were using a payphone outside shop

im 15, and if someone my age hit my sister (who is 10) i would go mental tbh. dont care if they are male or female.

it also shows how pathetic that 15 yr old girl is if she has to pick fights with someone who is obviously not capable of fighting back. she proberly gets bullied herself by her peers.

why stop by her then? i just don't understand how the situation could arise. seriously, if someone is going to punch you they either have to be standing in close proximity (so the girls were talking to her) or she came over. in both cases the 12 yr olds shoulda just walked away?

they went outside from the shop after and were using a phone box. the 15yr old came over and asked her to call herself that etc and when they didnt she hit her immediatly after, whats so confusing about it?

When i got beat up on sat these started following us after we said we would walk them home away from the lads who were calling them, and they started following us and then fly kicked my mate. Thats how that one started, haha funny thing was that he then punched my mate and went are you startin haha:p
So not really she was just looking to hit someone i think

I think she shouldn't because she had no right to punch the girl in the face. What's wrong with her? Someone has no life.

I think it is wrong, but theres two sides to every story, we have onl heard your sisters, and it seems highly unlikely that a random girl would come and hit some one for no reason. But if what your are tellling us is right then its totaly out of order

Is it me or are there hundreds of chavs now-a-days? There seems to be alot of violence amongst youths now, it's weird how much it has changed!

I think they should allow parents to slap their children. Some children need a good slap, right around the face. That'll teach 'em.
