Private servers?

how do u play them???? Do u have to download like a whole new wow which is one made by someone??? Could someone answer the questions and perhaps pm me with a link to one?

Anywho you download somthing and then add the severs to a list, Then pick one, Click and play. Somthing like that. But you need to make an account on the realms website i think. Im sure someone could explain it better but hey.

Most " Repacks " come with a website, i dont use that though. You can just type create <name> <pass> and there you go. then do setgm 1-6 i think.

ok i found out to use it now but i can never find a server that doesnt need TBC as well i dont have TBC..., well i have downloaded the trial of it from the official wow but it doesnt seem like that works so does anyone know any non TBC servers?

I just started playing on one server, it's really good xD alot of servers use BC now because most people that play them don't play WoW or have BC anyway :P from what I've seen you need to be patched at 2.1.2 at the most for alot of servers wowstatus.net or something has loads of servers lol

DELETE YOUR "CACHE" FOLDER IN YOUR WOW DIRECTORY BEFORE LOGGING IN OR YOU WILL ENCOUNTER TONS OF BUGS!!!!

Just so you are aware, these are illegal and law suits have been made againest people who are running them. Blizzard do not take lightly to these, as they lose revenue.

if your on a funserver they get boring after a while.
there all buggy and messed up yet i still play them.
there pretty addictive all you really need to do is create an account on there site then change your realmlist to theres.

Go into your WoW directory, open "realmlist.***" using notepad, change that to the server address save then run WoW and use the account you made on the website for the server

You need Himatchi too. It's so fun lol, I just spawned Kazzak too many times... and getting Nether Drakes, Tier 6, flying, going mega fast, it's all good.

Yea you really don't do that unless you're a GM xD private servers are exactly the same as official just faster XP, less players and more bugs, you can't just log on and go around saying .kill or .level70 or whatever it is, you still have to work for the items and money unless it's like x100 XP and loot or something xD

I just tried one for the first time today. I was hoping I would start at lvl 70, lol. It is ok and the lvling up is fast. I just started to get bored and went back to the real realms.

www.wowstatus.net theres loads on there some even level you to 70 in one kill and then you can get t6 for freee. + epic/legendary/custom wepsss

I'm GM on Mat's server, that's fun. Private servers where you're not GM bores me... might as well pay for the real thing to have contact with more players.
