Well that wouldnt happen, They wouldnt let anyone out there seats unless the had protained there present heading, Otherwise youd fall all about the place.

That looks pretty sweet. Now I wish airplanes will have like a huge pane of glass like on buses, so you look like you are floating in the sky. Ahh.

I heard Virgin are going to do some pretty interesting things with their interiors...

I'm happy because i'm pretty sure that it'll be flying the route I fly a lot (Phoenix > Heathrow), only a 747 can make it directly, and only one company does it... British airways, (I heard they're buying them... I'm right aren't I?)
so hopefully i'll get to go on one soon after they are released.

Anyway, i'm looking forward to it!

oh, and i've been wondering this, is the top deck reserved for first and business class?
I can't imagine that because well.. it's a lot of room for first and business.

Adam!

only a 747 can make it directly

Ermm, no.. You might find thats the only aircraft that they use for that service, but alot more aircraft that one can make that journey directly..

For example, a 767-300ER could make that journey easily.

That's nice. I'd love to fly on that plane. I don't understand this though, first class seats are so comfortable, then anyone not in first class their seats SUCK! Umm.. their just tryna get money.

British Airways hasn't done any plans for the Boeing 787 or even the Airbus A350. I think they are waiting to see. Even a 737 can cross the big pond to USA but only BBJ's can :P

* 737BBJ can in ways and can't in other ways although it has happened.

787 Orders:

Picture of all the tails of the airlines who have ordered them. Flyglobespan the UK airline has also ordered some B787s.

I know Micheal O'Leary was on about getting some 787's for transatlantic flights.

As he said, the adv. off peak price would be about £49, per person, return fully inc. taxes to America return :|

If this does happen, everyone will have to drop their fares.. Ryanair first class anyone? ;)

[B]oh, I never thought they could fly for so long, the phoenix - arizona flight is probably around 12 hours.[ (they told us 11, but both times it's been 12 :()/B]

But then they'd have to have less payload with 100% fuel because of MTOW.

I think the only time i've ever slept on a plane was when we got delayed on the tarmac flying to Malta.

I fell asleep in Manchester, woke up in Malta!
I was only 6 though.
