Right ill tell you how to do that one that ive put in bold.
So on your guitar you have lots of little likes and they have like dots on ye? or atleast some do.
These are called frets, you start from the head and count down, the dots are on 3 5 7 9 and two 12.
So when it says 7 on the G line it you would put your finger on that fret.

Hope that helps:)
What guitar do you have?

readings tabs is easy i just dont know how i should explain it.
If you go down to your music shop ask for a book on howto read tabs, it'l show you tabs and where your fingers should go and how to explain it.

Ok, your strings go as followed
E- Thinnest
b
G
D
A
E - Thickest

Its quite simple, your frets are the spaces inbetween the brass bars on the neck. The first fret is the one closest to the head of the guitar (the piece of wood with the tuning pegs) So you simply count up. For instance,

7
7
5

Is known as a power chord. You simply place you ring finger on the 7th fret on the D string, your middle finger on the 7th fret on the A string, and you index finger on the 5th fret on the E string. And theres your power chord, to get the sound, you strum all those notes downwards at one.

G --- 8
D -- 6
A -4

Is a picking pattern. You need to pluck each note. This would be the lead of your song, and the powerchords are the rhythm

I hope this helped somewhat :)
