that will help you also you will need a mic aswell :D
dan took the words straight out of my mouth. On VATSIM (not Dan) You can fly in an online enviroment, experience real air traffic control, and have fun! You can fly with your friends if your feeling bored by yourself.

Hmm I want to start again.. I think.
You should, its excellent, especially when ur spesh cos they call you sir.
Dentafrice,
14-07-2007, 07:39 PM

Oh haha, I just got my account. Will flight simulator 2004 work?
open flight simulator as normal, and create your flight as normal, then click ALT on your keyboard and then a menu will appear, click modules then sqwakbox3 then connect in and send your flightplan.
Dentafrice,

I can't find my flight sim CD's!
god! :( ive looked everywhere.
oo lol, well I can't help you with that.
Dentafrice,
14-07-2007, 07:59 PM
ill keep looking lol.
do you just leave the plane flying if you get bored?
xxMATTGxx
14-07-2007, 07:59 PM
Make sure you don't start on the runways though! Because if ATC is on they have a go at you lol.
ye matt, and dentafrice, ask your dad, he'll know :] or if not, put it on ap :]
Dentafrice,
14-07-2007, 08:09 PM
what if you have to go somewhere? :P
ye you leave it on ap, it will fly your heading, speed and altitude.
Dentafrice,
14-07-2007, 08:15 PM
too bad it wont land :( if your gone for a while you might pass your desitination :P
well then you don't leave for that long do you, you leave it on paused, but remember, if your on VATSIM and your in controlled airspace, request it to be paused first.
Dentafrice,
14-07-2007, 08:20 PM
ahh too many rules! :P
I am not sure I would like it ;P
xxMATTGxx

I would recommend reading all rules and the way you fly on vatsim. Like you need to have the flight plan, you need to have a call sign and loads mote.
lol your dad does though.
Dentafrice,
14-07-2007, 08:26 PM
why do you keep talking about my dad? :p
because he is th best pilot in the world init.
Dentafrice,
14-07-2007, 08:37 PM
he is a pilot, but he isn't the best in the world..

It's polite.. Nothing special about it.

Yes, especially TWENTY FOUR RIGHT SPEEDBIRD 93 - Rofl.
ye you leave it on ap, it will fly your heading, speed and altitude.
On VATSIM? - For more than 30 minutes? - Wave bye bye to your account if a SUP finds out.
well then you don't leave for that long do you, you leave it on paused, but remember, if your on VATSIM and your in controlled airspace, request it to be paused first.
Will 99.9% of the time be rejected.. If it's for a few minutes, then you request a hold.. Anything longer, you disconnect.
--
Either believe what everyone else has said, or me.. Lets say, they've been on VATSIM 5 minutes and I've been on 3 and a bit years.

Thats why I got my thread stickied. VATSIM & MetroAir will run through you like a bulldozer is you sign up to their services without having a flight simulator. We DO NOT supply aircrafts for you to fly!
Because accounts have to be activated manually, I suggest you read the t&c before registering, as they state alot.

On the 99.9% of the time be rejected, i've not actually done it so I don't know really.
And ye you will have to wave bye to your account, not done that either.
And on the polite bit, I was saying it as a joke wasn't I Matt :]
Ye matt you do have to practice offline first, it could help remembering some atc phraseology from being offline as well.
I thought your dad worked for Delta dentafrice?
