sometimes when your vip runs out it messes up your usergroups and gives you vip if you had another subscription running before the current runs out or something.

Seems to happen when u have a normal vip then buy a seasonal vip like easter vip etc..

You can sometimes have free VIP when it's been set as your primary usergroup byacident. An the sytem takes over an hour to update your settings of the promotion system.

The stars take a while to update... I was silver as well when I came out of VIP.

Hey :),

Your VIP was removed because it was continously running so in other words you were getting it for free.

You were gold or w/e before as the system updates every hour or so. Since you have 15k posts, it would take a few hours to get all the way to sparkling 5 stars ;).
