View Full Version : Online game development
I am currently developing an online space game called zetolic [www.zetolic.com] (http://www.zetolic.com]) and I was wondering what people wanted from an online game and I thought this would be a good place to come as you are the people who play them on a regular basis. So if you could please fill in the following form by highlighting the answers you agree with, it will help greatly.
Thanks,
George

For the money one, if it was amazingly good (I.E WoW :D) I'd pay 5+, if it was as good as RS, with all those types of features then 4/5+.

Ok thanks for the help, I'm also considering using MMOCC and MMORPG in one as a fusion because of the popularity of the genres. Perhaps focusing on MMORPG more but with some MMOCC elements such as customisable inside of your ship etc.

Thats the first alpha release, ive already been working on it for 3 months. Its all working, the server connections, movement and chatting engine are all complete. The first alpha will include those 3 and battleing so I have 4 months to develop a battle system which will be easy as I have the whole of summer too. Oh, Jamie I never lie......much.

I think you could mix the two types up, so you have both MMORPG && MMOCC. I couldnt say how much I may spend because it depends on how I liked the final thing. I prefer isometric games

Mmmm, possibly. Ill probably have a battle system as the main feature but you can customise the inside of your ship too like a room and add bits to the outside. At the moment the graphics are 'virtual' 3d.
