my friend is 18 and he lets me drive his car sometimes cos my parents dont let me practice in theirs.
and tonight i was kinda showing off and going about 60 through bends and went off the road and ****** his exhaust, and burst 2 tires as well as scratching it to buggery.
see if people find out i was driving, could i get in proper trouble?

you may have been driving which if stopped by the police or caused a serious accident would have landed you in big trouble but if he knew you hadnt passed and not insured then its his tough luck.
from what you say he was hoping by letting you drive his car he might get a bit of back seat action. lol @ him at smashed car and no sex.

what can he do? its his own stupidity that ruined his car. he would get in more trouble for blackmail than she would his damaged car and because it was only that car involved i doubt the police would care lol they would think he has learned his lesson haha.

You could get in trouble seeing as you don't have a license & you are driving on a public road where you could've hurt someone. You'll probably have to pay for the damages to the car.

you shouldnt have been so stupid to drive with no insurance, and without passing your practical test unless hes over 21 but still no insrance = you lose lisence if police ever do find out wich they will if he claims on his insurance for the damage u caused.

You'll proberly both have to pay some how due to half of the damaged caused by your stupidity for driving a car without insurence or a licence and half his stupidity for thinking with his penis not his brain and letting you drive the car knowing you don't have a licence or insurence.

dont tell me that im a stupid **** as you have no idea, how would you liek it if i drove a car into your mums face and killed her? oh it doesnt matter because my friend has insurance ye? No not true. you pathetic little scumbag crawl under the rock you came from

you never know, i hate it how people always insinuate that it's the drivers fault when people get knocked down by a car. i'm not a fool for passing judgment dear, so don't even try and tell me otherwise. how is she stupid? she was just basically driving harmlessly down the road, she lost her focus and crashed it. as i said, it happens to alot of people so get over it. it's understandable if people make mistakes, you're just spiteful and "disgusted" because of your friend's death, nothing else. if it hadn't have happened to your friend, then you full well know that you'd see beyond your lame antics. seriously, grow up about it all. using somebody's mum as an example is just lame, how am i the pathetic one? move on, seriously.

Sorry I know I've already commented on this but what further annoys me is young drivers like me who took ages to learn to drive and have paid for a driveing test and passed are given a bad name by people like this she obviously wasn't just "Harmlessly" driving down the road otherwise she wouldn't have crashed and as she isn't qualified to drive a car (which in some cases can be a lethal weapon if not driven saftely and properly) she shouldn't be illegally driving a car without haveing a license.

dude it was like 12 at night, on a back road cos we knew nobody would be there. and he told me to pull up if i saw someone. so i was careful for other people.
(and i live in a tiny village with very few people)
and dan, i do pay for loads of lessons actually. and i pay for them myself unlike most, and probably unlike you.
but when a driving instructor tells you to practise something yourself and you can't because you're parents don't let you use their car, then someone offers to let you practise in their car... you'd say no?

i'm sure 90% of people who are learning drivers, drive without their license, just to get some extra practise. if you don't, then i feel sorry for you as you probably don't feel confident enough to do so, or are just completely scared of taking a risk outside of habbo, or habbox. she was harmlessly driving, but crashing happens. my mum was harmlessly backing out of a parking space, she crashed into somebody. does that mean my mum isn't qualified of driving? she made a mistake, get over it. lots of people with licenses crash when driving down the road, so whether she has a license or not shouldn't matter. you're taking this way out of proportion, she crashed. big bloody deal. the whole point is that she wasn't a lethal weapon. you can only say what IF she hurt someone, she never. case closed.

its pretty obvious what I meant 'mate' she shouldn't be driving that car as she hasn't passed her test therefore shes more vunrable to accidents. If she wasn't driving the car illegally she wouldn't have been put in the situation in the first place it seems that I'm actually thinking more than alot of other people in this thread as they're telling her to basically lie to get out of trouble which would proberly mean she'll do it again... I'd rather not risk haveing a daingerous illegal driver on the road because next time it could be a persons life or even hers on the line.

I agree with Yathrice on this one.
Even though you appear to have a provisional license you were not licensed to drive that car and from what i can make out he is not 21 or over and hasn't had his license for 3+ years (and you probably weren't using L plates, etc) which makes the whole thing illegal.
The fact that you were doing such high speeds on a windy road and that you crashed goes to show how inexperienced you are.
If you had crashed into another car or a pedestrian and killed someone you would have been to blame, and damn right too.

He should take the blame for it but have you pay all the damages to the car and if his insurance goes up.
It was your fault and he shouldn't have to be that responsible. He was letting you drive his car and you crashed it.
That is how stuff like that works out at least where I live. One of my friends was letting some girl learn clutch in his car and she hit a pole. She had to pay for the damages.

How can you say that there would be nobody on a public road? and how would you stop to avoid them if there was going at such a speed with very limited vision (dark and cant see around corners)?
I have been in this situation with a very experienced legal driver hitting me head on down a windy road nobody else would be on and they died. the only good thing for me was it was 100% his fault. if he lived and i died he would have been banged up for it.
dont get me wrong im no saint and have drove illegally in the past and not proud of it but looking back it was a very stupid thing and i will never do it again.

Yeah but it was an accident that could have been avoided easily if you hadent been trying to show off and had been practicing(sp) your driving proprelly not speeding around then it would have been less likley to happen
