Meh, knew about this ages ago - besides the fact, the smaller it is - less bullets shoot in that specific area each time.

I use a small one though, simply because I HATE big crosshairs.

Far prefer medium sized, I struggle to see it when its that small and at medium size its perfect for me.

cl_crosshairscale 750 here and I play at a mid-high level. It's all on perception and confidence. If having a crosshair the size of a dot helps you and gives you the mental boost that you need then go with that. I far prefer a nice big medium-large sized crosshair because i'm a generally spraying m4/ak or an AWPer.

If it's too small you can't see when your bullets start to spray. It helps to see the crosshairs move apart in prolonged fire.
