What aspects did you find hard? Listening/Speaking or Reading/Writing?

Hmm in year 9 I wasn't that good at French but I took it for GCSE and found it okay

You still have 2 years, in that time you can improve a lot as long as you work hard. I'm sure you'll be fine ;]

Really helpful Matt :P

Don't take it too hard on yourself, you still have time to improve. Just practise wisely, and try to participate, you should benefit more from persistant speech rather than saying it in your head over and over. (But that does depend on how you learn)

Also, if ever you miss lessons, just ask your teacher for catch-ups, they should be able to oblige. :)

Sometimes it can be the teacher, Have you got the same teacher that you did in previous years and got decent marks?

Because i got a level 2 - and i had the highest in the class because of the teacher, and then when we had our normal teacher again it shot back up to level 6 - and so did everyone elses.

i had a 4 last year, in year seven we didnt get marks because the teachers werent bothered, we just got cover teachers and a book, in year eight i learned alot and got a 4 but this year and some of last year i had alot of time off
and i should really be in the higher class too
