This is what I get for living in the West Midlands, my town has flooded and parks and town is underwater. Here are some pics I just took on my phone:

http://uploadpicz.com/joshuar/BZKKNX2.jpg (http://uploadpicz.com)

(Put in spolier tags as they are big images)

There was also a wedding happening right near the flooding, gutting for them.

Our house is high up so we shouldn't flood, has anyone else flooded / had their town flooded?

The police said we couldn't go in the water as they haven't turned off a power station so the water is dangerous

Bingo, there is a river to the right of that picture, which flooded and thats why its taken the gardens over, as there was nothing protecting it.

i live on the 8th floor of an apartment block. if it ever floods, i don't think the floodwaters will be able to reach 8 floors above ground (i hope). it's possible, but that would be just darn scary.

hope things get better in your town anyway.
