Who plays electric guitar?

I need soem decent lessons I can do the major chords and a power chrod but I wanna expand my knowledge so I can be in a band and create awsome music, illbuy some one 360 rep if they help or wateva

I play guitar, bass and drums as my main ones.
I could teach you but i would reccomend you going for guitar lessons as they are so much better.
They are about £10 for half an hour in the UK.
I also have a guitar for sale pm if your intrested and i will put it on ebay or a site like that if you wish:)

I play bass, but the mechanics of it are pretty much the same.

Just something simple

A major chord is the first, third, and fifth note in the scale
Minor is first, flatted third, fifth


and i have more written down, but thats all i remember off the top of my head

bass guitar is way harder than lead guitar czo u gotta master slaps and pops thoroughly. thats why i prefer lead guitar :S

Slap bass is used in funk.. so say if your in a rock band you wouldnt need to use it... I LOVE SLAP BASS :D

i've been playing for 4 years. trust me, all it is is practice. i dont see how someone online could help you really. just my opinion.

by the way, electric = acoustic with a plug. i would play an acoustic first, and once you go to electric its much much easier.

i do, if you don't have a guitar yet i suggest immediatly getting an Ibanez / Epiphone since they are the only decent guitars out there which you will get cheap.

But yeah, learning online wont help you at all I don't think ;(

acoustic is better. plus if you learn on an acoustic when you go to play electric it'll be wellll eazy.
