[Flashbox]

I have edited my mybb forum code so that it says 'welcome (membername)'
but when a guest is on it says 'welcome (then aload of symbols)'
how do i get it so that if a guest comes on it says 'welcome guest' and changes to 'welcome (membername)' when they log in?
