Well, at the moment im quite upset whilst writing this..

My freind calles christina, her bf is bi.. But inftont of her he says hes straight, and then bi and then straight again. He often flirts with me, yesterday he kissed me on the lips as a dare, but today i got arrested by the police (long story), but when i got back he was at my house and we were alone, so i kissed him and he moved away and a few minutes ago on MSN He said hes straight.. I duno weather he is joking but it just hurts because i really fancied him and i thought he was bi. P.S Hes 17 and im 13. (14 in like 2 weeks)

Age doesnt really matter, anyway really, you should go after your friend's boyfriend, it will end up hurting you and your friend.

I unblocked him and on msn, He said to me that he would get with me if he wasnt with tina ( his gf )

Im not going to try and split them up but im just glad that he is bi.. i think.. he just said hes more straight than bi.

why?

if it was 20 and 24 nobody would care..

When you see them together, it looks cute.. she looks about 15 anyway

she?
you said you were 13 and he was 17...
there's no she there.

and it's sick because at 17 you're an adult, and most likely look like one. at 13 though, in my opinion, you still look very much like a child. Any 17 year old that finds a 13 year old attractive is attracted to kids in my opinon

Age doesnt really matter as long as both partners are happy (Unless they do "things" then yeah sick.)

age does matter, actually. a 13 year old & a 17 year old is wrong, a 13 year old is far too young and immature to hold down a proper relationship with somebody of the age of 17, sorry but you should give up and look for somebody in your own age range.

Im fed up of people who say age matters, it doesnt. -.-'
As long as both partners dont do sexual nature its alright. I mean a coupel can just date, be together and not want sexual nature for years.. ;\

age does matter, a 13 year old could easily be taken advantage of by a 17 or an 18 year old, use your brain for gods sake. so people who date are just supposed to sit together, doing buggar all? no kissing? nothing sexual? thats not how dating works, not real dating anyway.

Its called being romatic actually, dating is not based on having sex. :$

Its based on having a good time, wanting to be together and not just sex mad. -.-' How do you know that they dont want sex before shes of age or they marry (if it ever happened).

you'd think that? dating of today is a whole new different thing. god knows what time you're living in, because it's certainly not today's. be serious for a minute, a 17 or 18 year old is easily going to be able to have his way with a 13 year old, denying that would be stupid. by that age, they will have double the strength a 13 year old holds, the majority of the time. it's dangerous.

I must be old fashioned then as i'll rather sit down cuddle for hours while watching a film then having sex each week, Heck sex doesnt mean much to me :S Guess thats why i see a diff view.

The fact is, 17 year olds are practically adults, 13 year olds aren't and obviously if you aren't mature enough to realise that, you should definitely stay away from relationships with people over the age of consent ''/

how old are you?
you need to come to terms with reality.
what 17 year old isn't going to want sex? do you really see one being willing to wait years for their other half to turn 16?

I'm 15, 16 22nd Aug.

Though as said i would rather spend time cuddling, and just talking each day and all then talking about when to have sex. :$ Its so over rated -.-' and tbh, if the girl wanted to do it then its her own fault really. I hope the parents know and all, if not then it shouldnt happen.

You dont even know her. She acts mature, and so does he. They havn't had sex yet, but they have kissed ect, They are romantic - like any other couple.
and when they do, He said he will only have safe sex.

Tooo be honest. This guy was asking for advice, not a lecture on whether or not he was the right age to have a relationship with this 17 year old. He didn't even say they are in a relationship, he said he would've had one if he wasn't with his current partner.

So like, sthu about all this "17 year olds are pedo's if they're with anyone below 16".

Kthx.

Thanks rayne, I'd also just like to pick up on the point that most girls are more mature than boys. Both of them are mature but they are both at that age where they like to experiment.

Yeah on friday luke has the house to himself and they said they're gonna do it.. lol but its all gravy because i got somone aswell lol :P

I agree with that :)

Tbh, ages doesn't matter. As long as the two people are happy with what they're doing. Like someone said, people who are in their twentys or thirtys with an age difference in their relationship won't be as noticeable as a 17 years old and 13 year old, simply because it's easier to tell the age of a young person saying 'oh she's 14' than saying 'oh, he looks about 40'.
If that makes sense :)

P.S Hes 17 and im 13. (14 in like 2 weeks)

Er, yuck tbh.
Age gaps aren't as bad when you're older, they really are when you're younger.
dorothy is right. 13 is basically like a child and 17 a late teen, an adult.

Im 14 in about a week, and child's are like 10.. Im mature for my age.

i bet if it was 15 and 17 then nobody would care.. 365 days difference? not that much tbh.

Tristan

14 imo is still a bit wrong. 15 would be fine tbh.
Of course if you were 15, 16 or 17 no one would care because it's a small age gap?

I dont get the moaning, 13 is still in the teenage years, so its 17, ;\ so he's not a "child" just a growing teenager.. Really. [:
