Hi Guys, I've recently set up a free website and I have a radio player I want to direct to.
I can't seem to embed it on the page because it requires a plug in (news to me as wmplayer always works).
Long story short though, I have added a button with the Media Player icon and just wondered how I got this to redirect to play in Windows Media Player on the computer.
I have tried just typing in the stream url but it directs to the shoutcast page showing the official stats.
I am using www.piczo.com to host my website atm until I get a proper domain etc so any help with html would be helpful.
Thanks

<a href="http://IPANDPORTHERE/listen.pls" target="new">Windows Media Player</a>
Alternatively, change the text to an image of the mini WMP sign. :)
Example of IP and Port:
78.87.76.65:9000
or
shoutcast1.hellonet.net

I do use firefox and I think that was the error.
I just tried the link in I.E. and it opened in Real Player (My default player).
Is there no way around this problem in firefox then?
Thanks btw ;)

Now i've got the first part out of the way. How do I get the 'Now Playing' feature like HxL's on the homepage?

There is some, but they give you complicated storage space and so if you have no knowledge of cPanel then it will be a bit hard for you to sort it out.
