Resistances

Yeah, well I would actually like my resistances to be increased in effectiveness but I don't know how to boost them up.
I wish for my Fire/Arcane resistances to be better the most but also the rest.
How can I get my levels higher? Other than the stats on items or enchantments.
Is there any way?

As for staying on topic, the only ways I know of raising resistances is by resistant gear&enchants and you said; 'Other than the stats on items or enchantments.'
I don't think there is any other way though :<

the only other way to get resistance other than gear is buffs and potions that have been crafted by alchemists
