Here's my problem: Me and my family are going to move in London to live for the next 5 years but I'm afraid about my impact with the "english civilisation" 'cuz I lived in Paris for the past 5 years, and they're completely different.

I'm afraid of looking dumb so, could you please tell me somethin' about ?

Thanks, Cajak

Which part of London, do you know?

Anyway basically, dont make eye contact with people (greebos) who have hoodies on, ridiing rubbish bikes down the street, they also smell a little.

Well I moved from the UK to Phoenix in January, so I kinda know what it's like to move into a totally different civilization, it's a bit of a shock for like, the first few months, but you kind of settle in and get used to it eventually.

Also, you say in 5 years time? I don't know how old you are now, but you're going to have changed a lot in those 5 years, once you're a bit older I can imagine it being easier to adapt.

You'll get ripped for like, a while, I get it because of my accent still haha, just have a joke about it and don't take it too seriously and you'll get along fine.

I lived in London for 13 years, it's not nearly as rough as people think. People are much more accepting of other cultures in London so there is nothing to worry about.

London's a good place to live. Shops on your doorstep, and tons of people and many places to go to and stuff. London isn't very rough, of course there's the estates or few roads that you should try not go down by yourself at night, but you will be fine. I hope you enjoy yourself in London. :)

Lazer, stop hypung London up and making it something that it's not..
