well, it's a cartoon. it's supposed to be ridiculous, so it doesnt matter. you can only point out mistakes in serious movies.

they probably knew they made it themselves, but figured the audience wouldnt care. and they're right. most people who noticed wouldnt care.

Homer explains it fine well in one episode
"Cartoons don't have to be real"
Then another Homer walks past the window outside.

tbh, not being rude or anything. You're probably the type of person who wouldn't find the film funny cuz you're thinking too much into it.

maybe that was only roughly how much she had? it's only a cartoon, there's worse mistakes in normal movies.

Or... She knows what Homer is like and lied. She probably had over $100 but because Homer wanted some, she said $10.

my favorite is in war of the worlds, when all electric things turn off, but there's a guy recording everything with his camera.

My favourite is how people can always talk and scream in space and stuff blows up and combusts and stays on fire.

You really don't pay attention, do you? When they went to Alaska, they were given £1,000 for moving there. Which is where the money came from.
Was Chief Wiggum actually always in the Dome? I can't remember seeing him, and I saw it again today with another friend who hadn't seen it yet.

Video Camera's are run on batteries... You realise that, right? lol.

You do realise in the film an electrical impulse is sent which causes everything electronic ceases to work.

Actually, in War of the Worlds, anything stopped working which was eletrical, which was explained by Invent as I just realised what he meant :P
EDIT: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0462538/goofs - Simpsons Goofs
IMDB is very good with films and information. If you do Film Studies, it can be extremely useful

There could of been the chance that the video camera could work, because someone with the expertise knew what was wrong, like the car, and fixed the camera. The mechanic person at the beginning fixed that car, so maybe someone fixed the camera?
