Special Ops Fireteam - Infiltrating The Enemy Laboratory

Since I'm not making any lists in that pixel artist thread and I'm just extremely depressed :'( about it here is an alt:

The Story: In the future a great war breaks out between the dominating factions of the world. A war over resources, land, survival and of course, power. The war takes the lives of many and severely lessens the Earth's population. The winners of this war will be those who survive it and the best way to be the survivors is to cause extreme devastation through the use of unimaginably powerful explosives.

To stop the carnage from these warheads the Special Operations Division of the Fireteam, an elite group of soldiers fighting for peace, is called upon to infiltrate the heavily secure laboratories and missile factories of their enemy.

Personal Comment: The idea of the scene is that the three people in black (Two are kneeling/crouched and the other is standing) have just broken into the laboratory where new warheads and explosives are being created. I was going really well with it until about the end when I got sidetracked and everything really started to irritate me which brought down the alteration. I could have done something else with the table but I didn't want to keep going with it. Damn I hate it.

Time to get critical.

- The floor is excellent! I love the tiles but it's abit overpowering. I would have those tiles overwhere but just outlining the floor.
- Not sure what you call them so I'll just call them consoles (the big sciencey things on the walls :P). Again I really like them, can't fault them at all.
- The guns on the wall are a nice touch and I like it alot.
- The chairs are fantastic. I really like them.
- Same as above with the table. I like the themed seats and tables idea. Very stylish.
- Warheads I think is what they are called. Again, can't fault them really. Just one thing that might help: a tip. Like a different coloured tip just to spice it up.
- People work perfectly. I like the sciencey universal lab jackets. I don't know why but it reminds me of Star Trek. (:
- The soldiers look good but I'd prefer varied guns to stop it looking so copy and pasted. I know it isn't but variations could help.
- I don't know why but I practically fell in love with the door. Haha.

Very well done. 10/10 I'd say. Rep if I can.

Thanks for looking at it in depth and I really appreciate your feedback. I agree with your comment about the floor and I thought it would have been worse if I continued the pattern into the 'Danger - Missiles' area. I also believe your comment about the missiles/warheads is very true, I made a few slightly different styles of them and I couldn't get the tip right until I looked closely at the spaceships on the Space Skin :8 I also did 3 other different guns and I think I could have actually used them except it was just a case of what was more convenient and they were all in the same workspace so I just used those. (For those who play bf2142 I made the Krylov [(featured in the alt held by the fireteam), the Lambert Carbine (on the weapons rack) and my own version of the Scar but unfortunately haven't put that in the alt. If i feel like doing a small war scene I will include them though).

And, I'm sure I've been through this dozens of times, the idea is that the special operatives soldiers have just used their advanced tactics of secretive infiltration and have gotten into this laboratory, they have so far only been spotted by (maybe not even) one enemy who is running for the guns.

Do you really think they should jump in with all their guns out letting every enemy man and his dog know about it in a high powered weapons facility?
