I keep finding threads, that someone else has posted, and then the thread sticks to someone else. I don't know why this is happening.

Someone posted that thread if you look at the quote from the 2nd post down, you'd see the thread post and its stuck on me, now I've got -rep from someone for doing it :l

Its when their account gets deleated or there post gets deleated then the person who posted second becomes the thread poster.

That's because a Super Moderator mass moves their posts to the Unacceptable Threads Forum. It means the 2nd post in the thread is put as the first post.
Really Super Moderators should move the whole thread, because the content is generally pointless if the starter was just spamming or posting inappropriate material. Also it would stop problems like these. But hey, who am I to criticise :p.

shouldn't the thread rly have a message from a moderator or something?

Basically, when there are 100 odd posts from a user, that are all inappropriate and they need to be gone as soon as possible, rather than individually moving each thread, we just move the posts, which removes the original unacceptable content. This is much faster than having to go through each individual thread and move each one, especially as sometimes the trouble maker isn't the thread maker.

You won't get infracted/warned for these posts, so don't worry, as it is generally clear when a post has been removed - It's also not done that often, because most of the time spammers are picked up before they do lots of posts, it's only when there is a major amount of spam that this is done.

Why don't you just mass move the threads of the user and not just the posts :S?

Because if you mass move threads then the posts will be ignored.

I'm sure if you PM a super moderator / administrator they will remove the thread and the -rep as it wasn't your fault.

Not if you're a decent Super Moderator? :P. I used to move the threads and then go through the content, to make sure other people don't get away with things. It saves time in the long run, because you don't have to go reversing wrong infractions and the unfair -rep then :).

Yes I remember that - it was chaos for a few hours! Personally I do think that threads should be removed and sorted as it can give an inaccurate view of the thread. I know this because I was guilty of it myself once and people got edited for double posting.

Indeed, we all make mistakes and this was my mistake - I expected that the threads would follow the same path as there posts, which clearly they didn't. Sorry for the trouble it caused. :)

I've had this happen twice with those people that keep posting those 'SELLING NEW NOKIA etc' threads that are full of prices.

The answer to that is not post in spam threads, then nothing can go wrong. Only really post in legitimate threads which you know won't be removed.
