Should never have been cut. It has as much potential as the Simpsons, easily. It just began in the shadow of the greatest animated program ever.
Now all we need back is Malcolm in the Middle and we're sorted ;)

Going to be shown on comedy central in the USA too...
Sky one will most likely get the UK rights to it

I never found the show funny but I always found it watchable. It's a good quality show and I'm glad it's returning.

After the successful revival of the Family Guy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Family_Guy) series, 20th Century Fox Television (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/20th_Century_Fox_Television) approached Futurama co-creator Matt Groening to produce a direct-to-DVD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct-to-video) Futurama movie. On April 26 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_26), 2006 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006), Groening noted in an interview that co-creator David X. Cohen and numerous writers from the original series would be returning to work on the movies.[49] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Futurama#_note-DVDMovieAnnounced) On June 22 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/June_22), 2006 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006), Comedy Central announced that at least 13 new episodes were to be produced.
Clearly says episodes.
