Yes..
Independant schools, especially single sex schools can give a huge advantage to some people who wouldn't be able to learn as well in a normal primary/comprehensive school.

You don't pay all that money for nothing. In general, independant schools can offer a lot more support for the students, especially special needs ones. This is often not possible in regular schools due to funding issues.

yeah, why not?

ive been to both and private schools are so much better accidemically.

My school has just become independant.
Best thing they ever did.
First thing on the list was to get rid of the friggin idiots!
