Teeth

I have this mark on one of my front teeth. I think it's from where I had my braces, but it is so annoying. I feel uncomfortable with it when I smile, so I try to not hide it.

I brush my teeth twice everyday, but it won't go. My teeth are clean except for this mark. I've tried to scratch it off but nothing happens =/ My parants say I need a filling, but I hate having them so much..

Any ideas what it could be?

Normally, the mark is from missing a spot when brushing your teeth. Like, I know my friend who has braces brushes her teeth for about 30-40 minutes just to make sure every spot is clean because her dentist told her if you don't, the braces will leave a mark on your teeth & it won't be pretty. I don't know how you get rid of it or if it's possible. Just knock out the tooth & no one will even see the mark. :D Kidding. Get a veneer lol.

fillings don't hurt? when I had mine done it didn't hurt and I was like 8, now I have to have a tooth out cos its digging into my gum and if it keeps doing so it won't fall out and i will be stuck with a baby tooth :(

It's not a painful, it's when he uses the the lil' sucker thing :P It really makes me, I dunno, sort of cringe.

And I think it is from when I had my braces... my teeth were fine before I had them.

er if its like a mark from the braces not chipped or something like that, you can get it whitened at most orthodontists, my sister had it after she had her braces off cause she had a mark (:

Maybe its epbu (excessive plaque build up) I got that after I had braces

in my area fillings dont hurt, they have a new treatment so it doesn't hurt.. just have a filling, its for the best.

last time i had a filling it hurt because he drilled too far and hit a nerve. besides that, doesnt hurt at all.
