Need more and better (Super) Moderators.

I received two infractions today which were both pointless and were reversed. These were given by a super moderator.
I have received over 15 infractions which have been reversed - most of them from smods and MAD.

And yet, there is a super mod and an admin online, who havent removed scam threads for the last two hours.

Please get some more moderators or better super mods :).

My point is that super moderators have time to give out pointless infractions, but they dont remove scam threads?

Oh, they finally delete them. Just a tip - Move the threads rather than trying to delete the posts ;). Otherwise the person who replied to it becomes the thread starter.

As much as I hate to criticise the Moderation team that I was formerly part of, it is becoming clearer by the minute that they're not performing adequately tbh. People are breaking rules left, right and centre and nothing is being done about it.

Just general rule breaking too, I've noticed post reports take ages to be dealt with and even now the threads of that user have only just been dealt with well over an hour after he posted them.

I literaly just got in from work and saw this thread as the feedback is the first forum i check and i've dealt with that incident.

We are currently looking to take on a few more moderators as we've been noticing what you've mentioned in this thread. Its nice to know your concerned as well, thanks guys. :)

It's not only that you need new Moderators, you need to look over your current team. I am not trying to offend anyone but a lot of them are clearly performing pretty poorly so yeah...

I think the old system was better. Lots of moderators and only 2-3 super moderators.

2 smods are currently on holiday and so are a few moderators. We are already looking for a few mods as J1MI has stated :). If necessary, we can always open mod apps ;).

I think that Habbox need more moderators, not better moderators because at the moment, the moderation team is good - it's just lacking in numbers.

I seen some swearing on the forum not even been removed -.- i mean they havent removed it from the quotes and i have reported them, and NOTHING! gets done ;]

p.s if your wondering it becasue it was the same time they made it when the mod infaction them, no it not, it like 3 hours after ;/

I do have to say i think moderators do a fine job, i spend most of my time in the games section, i pm'ed mad telling him, we need more mods on the runescape section as we only have neil who i think needs some help, the runescape section is the second most active section on hxf, and we have one mod!

And thread starter the super mods we have now are #1 but i do see a need for MORE and i mean more mods.
As if super mods don't have enough to do without closing threads all the time.

I have to agree with Saurav on this, there is a serious lack in the amount of work being done by moderator and super-moderators, so much so that it can sometimes appear that no work is being done at all, even a few months back it was bad, so much so that I felt it was pointless reporting posts that break the rules as nothing was done about it.

There is a thread in Discuss Anything which is completely pointless - and its full of pointless posts. A super mod just edited 1 post in that thread when they are all pointless.

Reporting posts makes it easier for the mods but they shouldnt rely on them?
