half my school is racist because they think its fun

theres about 7 black guys in my school and about 4 mixed race and we have to put up with it because people think its funny

I know black people can be racist too but this is evryday racism im hearing. not just oops it slipped out or in a fight its used as often as hello.

For example,

I live in the most densely Conservative area of England (to my knowledge) and so obviously there's a lot of racism around, but not many victims of it as there's like... maybe a few hundred black people of the 200,000 in the town, and the Chinese/Asians/Indians don't bother anyone really. In fact they're all pretty friendly. The racism I see is between friends in a banter style usually, so although I said before that there's a lot of it, again there aren't many victims because even when it's said to someone of a different race it's done in a light manner.

As luke-p said, people often refer to cornershops as a "p" shop, and no-one takes offense. I have Asian/Indian/Chinese friends and they all know what they are and don't take offense because they don't see a need to.

True, but really it's no different to someone saying ANYTHING rude to you. I have long hair, I get commented on that all the time and I know people who've been attacked for how they look or dress, but that's not seen as being as serious as doing it for what race someone is, which I think is bad because an attack is an attack. I wasn't saying in my previous comment that racism is good or anything, but I don't think it should be as high profile as it is.

Have you ever seen the film 'Guess Who?' This mans daughter is getting married but when he meets her boyfriend and finds out that hes white, he doesn't want her marrying him. If it was the other way round and it was a white person not wanting his daughter marrying a black person, it would be banned.

People were racist over what tribe you were from, and if we're to believe that all humans come from Africa (and therefore black people most likely) then it could really be argued that black people invented racism. Please, learn a thing or two about real life before just reciting what you've heard from some black activist. My school in year 7 was about 80% black, 5% white and 15% other. They were racist to me and every other white person in my school. Someone once said to me
