Last year's winners Leicestershire were knocked out earlier in the competition (I believe due to the weather) so there will definitely be new 20/20 champions this season!
So tomorrow 4 teams shall be tussling it out for the last 2 places!
11:30 - Lancashire v Gloucestershire
15:00 - Sussex v Kent
19:15 - Final
Final is taking place at Edgbaston (Warwickshire - so no Home advantage for anyone)
In between match entertainment looks amusing at points, a 19 mascot assault course :') and er.. Mutya Buena and some X-factor reject singing too..
Team News:
Lancashire will probably have Andrew Flintoff (Batsman only), James Anderson and Sajid Mahmood all playing in what looks to be a strong side with other players like Muttiah Muraliathian (sp?), Mal Loye, Dominic Cork, Brad Hodge (highest scoring batsmen in 20/20 history) and Stuart Law!
Gloucestshire will have New Zealand "tratior" Hamish Marshall to give them some batting strength as well as England hopefuls, Jon Lewis & Alex Gidman.
Sussex will have current England Wicketkeeper Matt Prior at their disposable, as well as the dangerous Mustaq Ahmed, Rana Naved and Michael Yardy.
Kent will have Sri Lankan paceman Lasith "Slinga" Malinga flown in especially for the finals day to start his 3 week long spell at the club. Other dangermen for them include captain Rob Key, future English prospect Joe Denly, Wicketkeeper Geraint Jones and Yasir Arafat.
If I was a betting man I'd say Lancs v Kent with Lancs winning it!
