Hi, well im going up to year 9 and im losing all my friends who have been with me since i told them i was gay.


And its sad to lose them because i wont see them that much anymore so im realy upset and depressed. I mean they mean everything (not as much as my mum cos c'mon you know the story to that) but its sad to see them go

they where friends but now just people.

What do you think i should do?

If you're friends can't accept you for who you are, make some new friends.
Of course have your other ones as well, but tell if you're sexuality makes them uncomfortable, you wont exactly parade it in front of them, but they also have to learn to accept who you are.

Mm I agree with you there! Also are you sure your gay? I read somewhere that while going through puberty, you can be in love with the same sex for a year or 2 and then BAM you love girls!

If they don't want to be your friends let them go. It would be far better for you to know they arn't your friends, than to be led into a sense of false hope.

My mates laughed at me and called me gay throughout year 9 , only problem was i've never actually been gay?

Most kids are immature , if they're good mates they'll look past the fact you're gay.

in my opinion, you came out to early. i'm not going on the "you're going through puberty and your hormones are all over the place" thing, but you're like 13, your friends aren't mature enough to handle that it seems. Should of done it later.

the reson why people can't accept it is because if other people found out they would be like you must be gay to hang around with him or sumin, i wouldn't know

we have lower school (1>4) Middle (5-8) then high (9-11)

and i get to see my friends who when i was in year 7 and they where in year 8 and when i went inyo year 8 they went into year 9

Oh my town use to have middle schools a few years back, then they got rid of them, only a few towns in the UK still have middle schools.

They are obv not your friends if they can't accept you whether your straight, bi or gay. Maybe you need to find new friends that will accept you no matter what your sexuality is.

Well when i went into year 9 i went up to the upper school, I made tons new friends, now im gonna be in year 11 lol, year9 passed fast only had 1 fight :)
