It goes onto the answer machine and ukchaseral says "hi this is alistair williams from sulake ltd.. blah blah blah", he doesn't pronounce 'sulake' properly, he says sue-lake. I thought they would have told the staff how to pronounce it!!

i think everyone pronounces it as sue-lake till you are actually told/hear another staff member say it. The right way is Sue-La-Kay

Dentafrice,

If a Habbo Staff member pronounces it sue-lake I'd think that's how it's pronounced... They wouldn't allow him to pronounce it wrong, would they?

Sulake (IPA: /'su.lə.kiː/)[I] is a multi-million dollar multimedia company based in Helsinki, Finland. It was founded by Sampo Karjalainen and Aapo Kyrölä in 2000. Sulake's main focus is virtual worlds, casual multiplayer games and social networking. The corporation's CEO is Timo Soininen, also from Finland.

That suggests it is su-la-kiz

su-la-ki sounds weird. I have been pronouncing it sue-lake ever since I saw the company name though...

I've always pronouced it Sue-La-Key, I heard Becs say it on HabboHut and I knew it was pronouced like that, My friend calls it Sue-Lake , But it should really be spelt Sulaké with the emphisise over the e.

It's Su-Lak-Key

It's su.lə.ki - Wikipedia says so, and so does Becs :)

Becs frequently goes to HQ apperantly, so she would have the pronunciation correct. Al probably doesn't go, and if so, not very regularly. I think it's just hotel manager's that go once a year...

Su-La-Ki and Su-Ley-key are pronouced the same way PMSL.
