Me too, hes so close to that 75% mark, in which he can plunge his debt in the Club. He also plans to make them private, and alter the TV thing.. :S
I think it will turn it out like Leeds did, and that was a bad situation..
Also theres a roumer Glazer's son for Chairman?? Pfft.. Me thinks he should stick to Tampa Bay.

I think its terrible. This guys doesn't know anything about footy and I have no idea why he's interested in Man U. Isn't he an NFL team owner or something? Ha he's some sort of billionare and he only gave Ferguson 20 mil pounds!

Bye Bye Man Utd. Bye Bye.. Why loan money to buy the club, only to put the debt in the club.. Rather ludachris.. and Glazer should stick to the superbowl teams.

I think its terrible. This guys doesn't know anything about footy and I have no idea why he's interested in Man U. Isn't he an NFL team owner or something? Ha he's some sort of billionare and he only gave Ferguson 20 mil pounds! He's interested in Man Utd because he's a rich businessman. It makes thorough sense. When football teams want to start becoming businesses they have to take the rough with the smooth. Money talks. If Man Utd go under because of this, it will do football the world of good - someone might actually sit up and think it was a bad idea in the first place to have teams become businesses!

On the positive side, Yes, he does own Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and with him owning them, they won the Super Bowl.

Having said that, the revenue that is generated by TV is shared equally by ALL the teams, even the little ones (like Green Bay) so it helps all teams compete without an unfair advantage. This is something that should have been implemented by the FA/FIFA/whoever when Sky first started pumping their money into the game in this country. All the while the top teams get a bigger slice of the cake, there will always be just the same 1 or 2 teams at the top of the table.

So, Americans have got something right!
