In HSM1 Drew Seeley sang the songs not Zac Efron, Now in HSM2 apparently Zac Efron sings. If you listen to Breaking free [HSM1] and You are the music in me [HSM2] with Troy & Gabriella. They sound totally different, Bit pathetic tbh:rolleyes:

Views?

It is hardly pathetic o.O there must of been reasons and yeah Zac Efron can sing, he was really good in hairspray.

His voice was too deep to go that high. He's an entertainer, not an amazing singer.

Clearly edited his voice
Hes just a pretty face with no lyrical talent

Does that person think that the actors in Hairspray sang live in their performances?

He may be able to sing mediocrely, however the studio in which he records helps him about 99% with the finished product...

In Highschool Musical and Hairspray and every other musical-movie, the actors and actresses mime and recordings are dubbed over them in editing.

Rofl I know they don't sing them live in the film

& tbh I hardly doubt they would of gave him the part if he didn't have some musical talent.

I don't doubt the fact that he may be able to sing, but the studio in which his voice was recorded helped a great deal.

On a side note, he's the most wooden and 2D actor I've seen since Coppola/Mary Corleone in The Godfather Part III
