I didn't know where to post this so I posted this in other forums as well. Basically, I want to know if it's possible to copy or use clips from a Copyprotected DVD. If I open the contents of the DVD, I get 2 folders (AUDIO and VIDEO), which Audio appears to be empty and video containing files that the PC doesn't recognise. Is there any way or a program or something that could help. +rep to all helpful posts.

Right, first download the K-lite codec pack, then you will be able to open the .vob files in media players.

[Download Link] (http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.free-codecs.com%2Fdownload%2FK_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm&ei=chO6Rp3iGYWQ-ALdxsXVDg&usg=AFQjCNETULHQejC-5CWgJ8f2ZATL6qaQrg&sig2=8i3sqODcEYjKqewQsPaQeg)

Then you need a program called DVD43 which is a small program that runs from your task bar and allows you to copy the files on dvds.

[Download Link] (http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dvd43.com%2F&ei=MBS6RobKJ5TW-AL15rjODg&usg=AFQjCNH2t4joDr_7XrLD3xKSkiFmAo-uIg&sig2=9uMAtpIzVXHuRHi_AM8IxA)

To edit the video you will then need to convert the video to .wmv so you can open it in windows movie maker, alternately you could get a video editing program that allows direct editing of .vob files such as Adobe Premiere 2.0
