Anyone been? this is the 3rd time i've been and stayed with my grandma in her house. Today I climbed 3 mountains, well I did ridges. I like walking up mountains, walking for 7 hours today.

I climbed up http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whiteless_Pike with my brother, grandma and grandad, was pretty nice tbh.

Today I climbed 3 mountains

You climbed three fells, not mountains :).

Living up here, I kind of take the Lake District for granted because it's so close by and I've been that many times. It's easily one of the most beautiful places to go on a sunny day, but maybe not when it rains :P. If you'd have gone a couple of weeks ago you could have seen the Windermere air show as well :D. Try going up Scafell Pike next seeing as that's the tallest and you get some great views off there ;). You should also walk through Langdale which is where my school sends us on trips sometimes. That's one of the best places I've been in a long time. Anyway, hope you enjoy the rest of your time in the Lakes :).

Aye, like Grainger said, with living like 10min away from it, I kinda take it for granted. If you ever go up the fells, go up at night. You're above the clouds if it's dull, and you can see everything in the sky as there is no light pollution or whatever.

Lake District is my favorite place in the UK upto now. I have been about 7 times, and i stayed in Whitehaven/Egremont We went up to by the mountains around Scafell and had meals in the pub their. So calm and nice atmosphere, unfortanitly it was my Grandad who paid to have his caravan on the land and now he has died so the caravan has been moved, so might be the last time for a while now. :(
