Looks kinda short this week.
Hey there Habbos!
So August is upon us, and it's time for us to all think about lazy days on holiday, siting on a beach, relaxing with a smoothie, and enjoying life at it's best!
I can't get away on holiday this month, so I have been taking a virtual vacation with the help of Habbo Resorts!
I'd recommend that you take a few minutes from your busy Habbo lives and check out these fantastic rooms - an awful lot of work has gone into making a plethora of pristine plush pads for your pescatorial pleasure.
I applaud everyone who has made an effort to make these rooms ... your creativity and attention to detail is superb, and constantly reminds me why I am so passionate about Habbo and it's users!
Go forth and lounge!
Stargazing on Habbo
Hello Habbos,
How are you all doing this week? Well, summer is certainly here, that is for sure. The Hotel is positively bustling with activity as Habbos everywhere try to win over Lost_Witness and Helkat by building the most fabulous Habbo Beach resorts!. Will you be a 1* budget getaway for Habbos or a 5* luxury Habbo hideaway? So far some great resorts are being created... but it's not to late to build your very own! Remember, those who achieve the coveted five stars will go to a public vote, with a very cool prize! And let's face it, while Lostie and Helkat aren't easy to please, they're nowhere near as bad as that evil Hotel Inspector woman on Five!
In Player Support, we're very glad to have the lovely 0rca back with us! Missing for an entire week, but there is no rest for her. She plunged back into the mails like a whale into water. We do miss her so when she's gone! But as one door opens, a window slams shut and now we've gone and misplaced Akela!. Oh dear! Perhaps if I leave some cake out, she'll make an appearance. Hmmmm!
Before I go, I want to make one final request of Habbos. I know, in some countries, it is tough to get Habbo credits. We do offer the option of paying by Cheques and Money orders but we REALLY, REALLY don't recommend it. They take ages to get here, that's if and when they don't go missing in the post - and so many do. So really, we recommend using any of the other methods you can. And NEVER, EVER send cash. It, unfortunately, seems to always get "mislaid" by the Post Office and we never get it - and you don't get your credits. No one want's that!
Well, that's all from me. Keep safe everyone!
Disarno's ...Tortoise of a Week?
Hello Readers!
This week has been a strange week! I think it's the constant changing weather it's making it impossible to think what I am supposed to be doing! I am like a tortoise; when it gets cold I like to hibernate! Over the past few days it's been hot then cold, then hot again so you can imagine I am all over the place! Despite that I have been keeping busy, helping out with e-mails whilst poor 0rca is off sick due to back problems, so wish her all well for me please!
I very eagerly got to test drive a new Toyota Yaris TR 1.4D this weekend and it was such a smooth ride I was really impressed with it! Most of you may know that I have a very eco-friendly Toyota Aygo at present but seems to lack space and features, so I have been looking for another one that is also just as eco-friendly and to my surprise the diesel version of the Yaris is well within that eco-friendly band! I've also been making regular trips to B&Q to help my mum get some things to re-decorate, yep that's right when I am not working I stick "Taxi" on my forehead! He he!
It will be my friends 21st B-day coming up so I've also been really busy doing prep for that and getting her a special birthday present! What is it I hear you ask? Well it's 2 tickets to the upcoming My Chemical Romance gig in Sheffield!
We had some great exciting new features in the recent August Update, there is now a funky Jukebox and the ability to add names and tags to your Habbo Homes/Groups! I've updated my groups page using some of the new tools, so feel free to check mine out to get the jist of how to use the new features by clicking here.
I've also been keeping up the with two launches from the NASA Kennedy space centre this week, first being the new robotic probe called Phoenix which will be landing in the polar regions of Mars to search for any signs of life in the icy soils. The probe is not set to land until early March next year due to the amount of time it takes to reach Mars. Space Shuttle Endeavour will be launching on the 8th to continue Space Station construction and repairs. This is set to be a 2 week mission but could be extended due to a new piece of equipment the crew will install which will allow the shuttle to draw power from the Stations electrical systems.
That's it from me this week folks, remember never fear the Habbo Help Tool is near!

Heidster is mega busy now, I'm surprised she finds the time to still write a section. She's now dealing with Mods, Player Support, Safety, Fansites AND X's! D:
