Fastest way to 99 FM?

I was thinking about doing this after cooking/fishing and a cheap one I found was at my level (52 I think lol) was willows, which would only cost about 4m forgotten exactly how many is needed though lol

Willows are by far the cheapest method with decent time keeping, though it's a lot slower it will only cost as little as 3m if you buy the logs from shops in F2P and burn as you go along or like 3.5 from other players.

Maples are good and in between willows and yews; you'll burn a lot less maples and level up faster with them to get to 99 and they're not that bad. Only a few million more I should think...

ie. from 1-99 you'd need to burn 144,828 willows costing 1.7m using the shop method or 3.6m using other players.

OR

burn 96,552 maple logs from 1-99 costing 6.7m but you'd burn nearly 48,000 less logs.

I got to 65 using willows and it started getting a real drag :p

But yeah that could work and save you a few gps :D

I had 99 FM on my old account, I mainly burnt willows but did some maples as well.
I bought my willows from players.

But yews own more :D

Maples is better if you get bored fast, for some reason willows are mega boring.

The Rogues Den is a bad place to burn, Varrock and monk fish place are one of my favourites.

I prefer edgeville to burn, theres like 5 rows of 28 spaces...

heres the way i would do it:

1-60 Willows
60-80/85/90 Maples
80/85/90-99 Yews

and fally is the best place to fm...

the fastest way imo is burning logs..i dont know how long it would take for you to do it with genies or dem new books tbh

Maples is the way to go.

If you do willows you spend less, but you waste a lot more time.
If you do yews you burn less, but you waste a lot more money.
Maples on the other hand are in the middle, and that is what I did til 99 firemaking w00t :)
