Yes, accoring to the "French" Habbo Staff, Habbo Hotel will have sound [Like music] by the end of this year :o

No lag is better than no music. Do we really need sound, DJ Decks would be the only think that would use them I think. Alot of people listen to radios or something from their computer while on Habbo the HH Sound would interfere with that. If you want sound go to Coke Music.

It Would Create More Lag Than Rollers Would, If Your Playing Music In Something Like WMP (Windows Media Player) Then You Wont Experiance Much Lag, But Music Comming From The Hotel Itself Would Make It Too Laggy To Even Move, I Like Listening To Music Very Much But The Music Habbo Would Provid Isn't Exactly What I'm Into Lol.

If and when sound comes to habbo, the lag levels will go through the roof. And i highly doubt that Sulake could produce the range of music that which we listen to.

Sound would ruin Habbo. And what sound would you have, the Console is a Cartoony alarm so they have to have cartoony music and I don't really want Music anyway. I pity all the people with a low internet connection

Mabye they're only planing on having SFX's. Music would be weired, but by the end of the year wouldnt they have improved the lagg? If they had like a music player, mabye you would open up your own music files onto it, and then anyone in the room would hear it. I would'nt mind it, although if rubbish songs were playing it would really annoy me and I'd go insane :). Annoyingly if Habbo has music, Habbox Radio would go down.

Cokemusic is really laggy with music, and can only hold up to 3000 ppl, so i guess if it happens to the french hotel, we'll see how it goes.
