Well at the moment i have my room as really dark pink and black but i feel lits to dark now and really eurgh. I also have band posters up but mum says i should get rid of them if i cant get to sleep with them up, but i can, its just i feel my rooms alittle to dark now.

so give me some ideas like what colours i could paint it that arnt to dark to keep the altertive room look. I was thinking of having just a cream and then in the corner tattoo deisgn stars on the walls.

but idk. maybe that would look to childlish as im 16

Give me some advice.

my mum also says im not geting to sleep because of the mess and not due to im not able to sleep in the night but daytime urgh

A picture would help ;) I'd suggest pick out your favourite posters and remove the rest, keep the pink, replace the black with the cream.

Light pinks always nice. I think you should take the posters down it makes the room look like tidy lol :P

Or you could keep them up give you something to look at when you are bored lol :]

I like these...

i'd defiantly stick with calm-ish colours, in the past i've always gone for like BRIGHT pink or BRIGHT orange because I thought it would make my room look cool, but when you get it done it's like *sigh* and it makes your room like it's for a 6 year old, calm colours are usually pretty unique and go with everything and look good, so yeah, they usually turn out better than you think they would.

Just my suggestion, lol.

When I moved into my house, 2 of the walls in my room were painted bright yellow, the other 2 were dark blue, ew.

and earthquake, not necessarily... she could stay till she's 18-19, 3 years is a pretty long time.
