It hasn't always been for Sony, it was originally a Nintendo game
There is always a chance for it to go to the 360, since 360 has quite a few games that were originally only for PS, such as GTA, Tony Hawk games, Devil May Cry, I don't see why MGS will be any different, it isn't owned or published by Sony so it can go on any console the developers/publishers want really

I still don't think so, Konmai have a big contract deal with Sony plus it's a Japanese based company so i guess they'd want the japanese manufactured console to do best not the american one..

That was the order of release mate, Metal Gear come out on PS2 when it came out, that was the order of the releases of that game

Well no you was saying it was always for Sony yet it was still on a Nintendo console, meaning it wasn't always for Sony was it :rolleyes:
Snake is even appearing in the new Nintendo game "Super Smash Brothers Brawl" so Konami are clearly not bothered who have MGS related stuff in their games, and just because Microsoft is American it doesn't mean anything, game developers do it for money, if Microsoft pay high enough Konami will make the games for 360 aswell, clearly either Microsoft are not offering enough, or Sony have paid tons and got a contract stopping Microsoft from having MGS, which would be a dumb move because tbh MGS stinks xD

Oh and if you cant be bothered having that sniper battle with the old man , leave the game for two weeks and he dies!

Well judging by MGS3 which maxed out the PS2 disc's capabilities just think what they'll have done with the Blu-Ray..

The 360 uses DVD9's not HD-DVD =]

W/e the 360 uses it's only something like 15GB while the Blu-Ray has around 50GB

Its games like this that will turn around PS3 sales. No doubt people will buy a PS3 just for this game. With exclusive titles such as L.A Noire, and Getaway 3 coming out, 2008 looks like a good year for Sony.

There is another way to do it. There is a sniper hidden in a very early level of the game, then when it shows the cutscene of him on the pier you can shoot him just after the cutscene and just before he goes through the door.
