So the guy on here user412 or something coded my layout.

Here it is. http://www.football101.co.uk/gfx/index.htm

Can someone tell me why it works in IE and not firefox?

Simply because his coding isn't cross browser compatible. It's a shambles. I would point you in the right direction, but I don't have time. I might post in a few minutes if I get time

That coding is diabolical - that's your reason.

Here's an example of what it should be like:

CSS:
<style type="text/css">
body {
background: #33cccc;
}
#contain {
width: 600px;
}
#maindiv {
position: absolute;
background: ("1l.png");
background-repeat: no-repeat;
width: 600px;
height: 444px;
}
</style>

Main body section:
<div id="contain" align="center">
<div id="maindiv"></div>

That's only a little part for you. I don't have time to do the rest.

Usually when sites aren't cross-browser compatible, it's best to start again which is a shame. It'll take you longer to sort all the problems than it will to start again. There's no easy way out, I've found it virtually impossible to convert a IE site to cross-browser, as so much needs to be changed.

I thought it was ok due to the fact it was one of me first but I will have another go at it for you or if some one else ones to elp?

I have lost all faith in this design site now. If you hire someone who does not know what they are doing, then you do not know what you are doing yourself.

I'll code it.... for a price

That depends entirely on the situation, sometimes it's best to modify what you have rather than waste time starting again.

craigg.

Depending on what you want done really. If you want it coded the same way the previous guy has done it, with nothing fancy. Not much, but if you want it so that it expands when you add more information to the page, it'l cost a little more (a little more time consuming)

But yeah, I don't cost a lot. For the same what he has done, call it £3.

Kyle™

Yeah i would like the expanding thing so when you add information it scrolls down. I only got £3.60 in paypal. But if anyone takes habbo aswell i got like 20HC i dont use.

Second thoughts, I cant live up to my offer. I'm a tad busy with my permanant client. I'm sure someone on here would do it for free. If you go to the first page, I done some of it for you. Carry it on. Anyway, sorry I couldn't help out.
