I am needing a ftp client that allows ftp to ftp transfer.

Tim told me one yesterday but hes gone away and I havent set Pidgin to log my messages.

Can anyone tell me one?

so I connect to backup.com and transfer the files directly to server.com

rather than downloading, then uploading from my PC

Thanks
Danny

As far as I am aware you would need some kind of special software on the server to enable direct FTP 2 FTP trasfer, because the server would be directly interacting with the second server.

Its possible because Tim had told me one yesterday

I don't have a clue but try a few different ftp clients and see what features they have.

I suggest:
Smart Ftp
Blaze Ftp
Core Ftp
File Zilla

Just download them and explore their features.
I hope this will help,

mmm when I was using that it kept saying something dodgy like Xfering or something.

I have just gone for the downloading and uploading route. I have been removing some **** and some music files before they are uploaded
