Piriton is an antihistamine, It relieves you when you have an allergic reaction etc.



Chlorphenamine (INN) or chlorpheniramine (USAN, former BAN), commonly marketed as its salt chlorphenamine maleate (CPM; Chlor-Trimeton®, Piriton®, Chlor-Tripolon®), is a first-generation antihistamine used in the prevention of the symptoms of allergic conditions such as rhinitis and urticaria. Its sedative effects are relatively weak compared to other first-generation antihistamines.
Chlorphenamine has antidepressant properties, inhibiting reuptake of the neurotransmitter serotonin. Based on this knowledge, the Swedish company Astra AB was able to derive the first marketed selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, zimelidine, from chlorphenamine.

Calpol is good, as is this weird orange paracetamol medicine they do in hospitals. Bonjella is YUMM, and so are banana antibiotics.

Some stuff that's EW is elderberry iron medicine, unflavoured antibiotics and phosphate tablets.

Calpol. And it isn't medicine, but any kind of flavoured/jelly/sweet w.e. supplements, it's like they want you to overdose.

Calpol brings back so many memories :) I was 3, just had some and my mum went upstairs and I got the top off somehow and drank the full bottle, when she came down I had calpol all over my face and I had to be rushed to hospital, luckily nothing fatal but I just had to have tests and a bit of blood out of my toe :rolleyes: Anyway, bonjela is horrible.. benylin is sort of nice but not excellent, calpol is.. well WAS to me, yummy but after that incident it tastes yucky now :S

I just drink that if i feel pain, A because it tastes actually quite nice, and B because its more of a mind thing with pain for me. If i think the calpol works.. it works.

I cant swallow tablets or anything.
