If i build a portal room in my house, would you need the magic level to focus the portal to that location?

(For example, you would need 37 mage to focus that portal to falador)

Hmm, I dont think it does. If it did it would say in the construction guide.

i think you do need the magic level to focus the portal to your desired location, because you need to have the runes for 100 casts of that teleport spell (i think)

similarly, you cant focus a portal with an ancients teleport without having completed DT

You need to have the runes but you dont need to cast the spell.

You can build up to three portals in one portal room. The centrepiece is used to direct or "focus" a portal on any one of the following locations: Varrock, Lumbridge, Falador, Camelot, Ardougne (Plague City quest (http://www.tip.it/runescape/?rs2quest_id=44)), Watchtower (Watch Tower quest (http://www.tip.it/runescape/?rs2quest_id=64)) and Kharyrll (Ancient Magick (http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=ancient_magicks.htm)). (Note: you must be eligible to cast the teleport spell. However, you do not need to be on Ancients to cast the Kharyrll spell.)
