Hello,

I am currently working on a Subscription System (Like vBulletin's Subscription System you use to buy Habbox VIP) using PayPal Instant Payment Notification.

Please post some features you'll like to see.

If you are intrested in testing please drop me a email at:

Thanks,

Tom

Let me think...

- Recurring subscriptions (shows on a calendar, when next payment is due)
- Buy subscription for a friend
- Count how many times the user has bought the subscription (eg VIP) so people could make features like "Once you have had it for 12 months, you get x feature"
- Refund via super admin
- Gift vouchers to friends
- a bank feature where you can add as much or as little to your user account via Paypal at any time and spend on features such as VIP, extra space, gifts etc etc

Ill have to read some more of the documentation.. but its possible ^^
- Buy subscription for a friend
Thats easy, the username its being purchased for can be changed easy.
- Count how many times the user has bought the subscription (eg VIP) so people could make features like "Once you have had it for 12 months, you get x feature"
All transactions are stored so you could calculate it or increment a value.
- Refund via super admin
Not sure how I would go about doing that as I am sure PayPal wouldn't just let you refund stuff without some security measures.
- Gift vouchers to friends
I could I suppose, but if you could buy for friends why would you need gift vouchers?
- a bank feature where you can add as much or as little to your user account via Paypal at any time and spend on features such as VIP, extra space, gifts etc etc
Not sure if its a good idea to go taking responsibility for other peoples money, unless you convert it into some kind of credit and you buy these credits (like habbo xD)

Yep, thanks ;D However searching for "PayPal IPN class" brings it up ;D

http://www.phpclasses.org/browse/package/2249.html

It won't do it all for you xD You actually need to provide the variables to be send to PayPal.

Can't edit so don't have a fit.

--The subscription system WORKS ;D--

The payment class and IPN responce handler is fully working (Tested in PayPal's sandbox). Just got to add some design elements and a page to select what package you want to buy.

Then ill work on some of the aditional features, as suggested above.

Which Class did you use? As The Surgeforce one looks like it wouldn't work.

Off topic: where do you get the powered by images on usersystem.net from ??

On topic: Something that would easily integrate into stuff (good post save eh?)

Some are from the official PHP/MySQL sites, others are created by me.

Regarding Refunds via adminCP:

This would use the PayPal API, and the security method is using certificates and uses SOAP to do the actions, etc. I have no experience in using any of them and along with refunding you can send money to other people, cancel transactions, pay for goods, transfer money from credit cards, etc. So it poses a massive security risk and will NOT be implemented.

However all the other features will go along as planned.
