Well they noticed that the left engine had smoke coming out of it before it exploded, if no one noticed it then I doubt there'd be many survivors.

They all got out before it exploded

What did the ones who climbed out of windows do, just fall? That must've hurt.

The pain would go after a while, so it wouldn't be that bad. Anyway, it's pretty lucky that everyone survived.

I'd certainly rather jump from the flight deck window and break my ankles than burn/choke to death.

They evacuated just at the right time.. They did apparently have to wait 10 minutes before the decision to evacuate was made.

I notice no one is bringing up the fact it was a Boeing and everyone on this Forum is like "if it ain't Boeing I'm not going" or w/e.

No I'm surprised they didn't just cripple themselves or something and either lie there under/next to the plane or try and crawl away. Perhaps they did I don't know how big this explosion was.

If I was on that plane I wouldn't wait 10 mins to be evacuated I'd go and open the godam door myself lol

Yeah and? Doesn't make Boeing uncool. Anything could be wrong like poor maintenance so who knows. Yeah the pilots hanged down on their ropes from the flight deck windows to get out safely :)

True but then you be arrested for braking a rule without permission lol.

just waiting for the smoke to cover 3/4 of the plane and fire to block atleast 3 of the exits.

It had to be a close escape or they wouldn't make the news.

well. i think even if they got out then the plane exploded 20 minutes later . it would still make news considered they grounded the rest of the fleet.

But you can see people still sliding out of the plane literally seconds before the "big" explosion... if you click that video that someone posted.

LMAO You got it girl!

Edit: 737s are still safe, it's just when the airlines don't give it good maintenance. Like that other crash with AdamAir etc.

But if they escaped with like an hour to spare it'd just be an escape, not a close escape. I'm glad no one died though.
