well it all dempends how serious u wanna take it.
if u wanna be prettuy serirous get a nice mic a mixer so it will sound really good then some cd decs as well and a good soundcard. Also if u wanna take it serious get some jingles made.
i can give u a good mic for if u are gonna tke it serious
http://www.sennheiserusa.com/newsite/productdetail.asp?transid=009422
we use that in the studio at school good mic nice pickup when you are near it but block out other moise in the studio
for a serious cd player if u wanna take serious
http://www.numark.com/cdn36
we ahve a older version of this in the studio it is ok but sometimes it can be wired and not like some discs
for a mixer i could not point you to 1 because i dont know what u want eg channels and all that all i advise is use soundcraft i use there quite a bit and have never hade a problem whith them we use these at *Removed* when it is runnig and have 1 in the studio at school and also have 1 of these at home for my drumkit
and for a soundcard if you are atking it serious get a creative sb live 1
http://www.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=1&subcategory=208&product=14066
that looks a good 1 i dont have it or have never used 1 but at home i have used creative soundblaster and in the studio just not taht version
hope that helps if u dont want to take it deadly serious then just say hpow serious u wanna ake it and i will try to find good products for you
you dont have to ahve a cd deck but it is nice
i dont take it dedly serious at home but like i say at our school studio and at *removed they do so i have a bit of knollage on what is good

Right then for a serious dj but not too mutch i propose this.
option 1
Mic:http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=220024&criteria=microphones&doy=22m8
Softwear: Sam broadcaster 2
Mixer:none
cd decks:none
option 2
Mic:http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=35163&criteria=microphones&doy=22m8 but you will also have to buy a xlr to a 3.5 mini jack lead whith that for about £3 if you dont buy the mixer
Softwear: Sam broadcaster 2 or 3
Mixer:http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=36158&criteria=mixers&doy=22m8 you will also have to buy a big jack to mini jack convertor £1
cd decks:Just a cd deck lying arrond the house then take a line from the headphone into the mixer
option 3
Mic:http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=27483&criteria=microphones&doy=22m8
Softwear: ots dj // sam broadcaster 2 or 3 // cue professinal (donno if it supports shoutcast i aint sure)
Mixer:http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=43545&criteria=mixer&doy=22m8
cd decks:a good cd deck froma local shop whatever takes your fancy
you could also use the setup that i put above but for soundcard i do recomend the creative sb live range
you can also go more in deph like getting dual moniters and loads more hard drive space
as well i recomend getting some jingles to make your shows sound pro as well as maybe investing in getting some good liteing for you desk as well as a mic stand
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=31140&criteria=microphone%20stand&doy=22m8
that is the sort i like taht sit on your desk but if you are gonna take it real pro have 1 fixed on the desk whitha pull arm on it like them lights or on the celing.
hope i helped
