As title says.

Basically I got a phonecall from my school this morning asking me if I wanted to appear in the paper tomorrow with my results. How do they know to ask me unless they know i've done well? It would be a bit embarassing for them i've done rubbish lol.

The paper's the Oldham Chron btw.

No. The media used to get given the table of results (like the country as a whole) the day before, but not this year. It's like with GCSE papers, your school can't open them till they're gonna hand them out.

ETA: I dunno if that's A levels or GCSEs, but no one will know your particular results until you open them.

Yup they do know, it's the same with A levels. Universities get given the results, as do colleges but they don't normally need them if you've finished with college in general. Schools can have the right to know, the exam board gives them the details. It's why teachers seem to congratulate you, even before you've been given them.

So they'll look at them before they put them in envelopes etc.?

So each of my teachers will know what i've got?

I'm not sure, they'll know when school re-opens because they normally find out through looking at the results. It depends if they really care or not.

Yeah what Invent says.

They can't see your actual results because they will be in an envolope but they get a main sheet for the whole year with the percentage of passes etc (I think)
