Hello i just wanted to know why my tank is getting misty so quick when i recently changed the water i have 8 fishes lol they are like 4 of them about 4cm, 4 small about 3cm and i give them food etc, and i add the thing you add so the fish won't die.
Help...:D
thanks if you can give a solution
Note: that gravel is clean :)
I'm guessing because with 8 fish in one tank it's bound to get dirty fast?

omg people its not the fish and they are only tinchy. I got 10 6-7 inch fish and it takes about 2 months to get dirty. It happened to me though, plastic tanks, the water goes misty and also depending on what light you have it could go misty too + it could be the gravel, you MUST wash it several times before putting it in the tank and also it could be the food, some have colourings in them.

Do you mean the light?
An ultra violet light or w.e is best for tanks. (blue or white)

Do you put chlorine in the water ?? And also do you use the pump because i use both and my water doesnt cloud that easily.

I would say so, mine went like that sometimes and its PERFECT now, i havnt had to clean it for around 9 months. Altough ive changed the water and the filter things i havnt had to empty it ALL out and clean it all. The fish tbh dont like perfect ness but they need to be able to see and you need to be able to see them :)

you need a filter, as the left over food and fish waste causes the water to cloud, also make sure your tank is the right size to handle the amount of fish you have.
I have a 5 foot tank with eight fish in, but mine are a little bigger than yours, so yeah.
As for the filter, i'd recommend a Juwel filter, i've had my one about five years now and it's still going strong they're really powerful also, it'd also probably be better to get an internal filter. You should clean this about every 1-2 weeks.
Also, an air pump helps to keep the water oxygenated and churn up all the watse in the gravel, Rena Air 200 is a good one.
It could be to do with your gravel aswell, it's better to get the 'stoney' gravel that looks like little pebbles, than the coloured one, as that tends to get dusty in the bags, is hard to clean and doesn't last very long. The pebble type will last a few years.
hope this helps :3
